Ruby Abbiss is a Welsh-born, Watford-raised writer/director with a wealth of talents that include: curating excellent Spotify playlists and obsessively creating exhibition-worthy spreadsheets.
She has also achieved many things. In 2024, Ruby graduated from the National Film and Television School’s MA in Screenwriting for Film & TV, and completed the BBC Voices Scheme as part of the South East cohort. It was a year almost as successful as 2017, when she graduated from London College of Fashion with a BA in Fashion Journalism, and gave birth to the heir to her swivel chair throne (that Ruby is yet to purchase).
With two writing-based degrees under her belt, it’s safe to say Ruby’s written lots of stuff. Her bylines include the Guardian, WWD and Refinery29. And if you’re here to scope out her film, TV and games projects, let’s make that easy for you.
